Sara Ingrassia

 Sara is a consultant at East West Math.  She has over 17 years of teaching and coaching experience in a variety of public and private school settings.  Sara’s expertise is in the area of implementing Singapore Math® Primary Mathematics in K-5.   As a math coordinator at one of the top private schools in New York State, she is currently overseeing the proper implementation of the program there.  Sara is an experienced presenter and she enjoys conducting workshops for teachers, parents and administrators.  Her workshops include an entire spectrum of the Singapore Math topics: Concrete to Pictorial to Abstract, Number Sense, Multiplication & Division, Model Drawing, Fractions, Measurement and others.  She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College.  Upon completion of her degree, she was selected to Teach For America, in which she received her teaching certificate in elementary education.  Sara resides in Connecticut with her husband and three sons.
