Description

This workshop will introduce the big ideas of Singapore Math. Participants will examine the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach to teaching number concepts to primary grade students. Participants will learn how to immerse students in a math environment, which fosters conceptual understanding and skills proficiency. The workshop will focus on identifying patterns and relationships, mental math strategies, graphing, data analysis and representing numbers in multiple ways.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

This workshop requires a minimum enrollment of 7 participants. East West Math reserves the right to cancel the course in the event of insufficient enrollment. In such event prospective participants will be notified of cancellation as soon as possible.

100% of a paid registration fee will be refunded if an educator cannot participate and notifies us at least 14 days before the day of the course. 50% of the paid registration fee will be refunded if an educator cannot participate and notifies us between 7 and 14 days before a day of the course. No refunds will be issued if an educator cannot participate and notifies us less than 7 days prior to a day of the course. In the event of a medical emergency, 100% of the paid registration fee will be refunded, provided a participant forwards proper documentation.

Eligible for up to 3 CEUs. We accept Purchase Orders from schools.
